Basketball

Tauranga Girls College is a Top Four National Secondary School Basketball team two years in a row. The school has a proud history of basketball with players representing Tauranga and New Zealand. Our coaches have developed an admirable programme of whanaugatanga, professionalism and team culture to meetthe needs of competitive and social basketball players.

For all parents or students wanting to keep up-to-date with TGC Basketball, we have a Facebook page (Tauranga Girls College Basketball) which will have updates posted more regularly.

For the TCBA 2025 season:

• Age Group (running clock): Friday 9 May to 15 August (11 weeks)
• Premier Grade: Wednesday 7 May to 20 August (13 weeks)
• A Grade:Wednesday 7 May to 20 August (13 weeks) 

REGISTRATIONS 

All Trials:
You will need to have paid a deposit of $30 towards your fees prior to trials on 1 April - this will come deducted from the total fee below, dependent on which team you are selected for.

If you cannot do this, please reach out and email [email protected]. Alternatively you can set up a payment plan. 

Trials for ALL teams will be on:

Tuesday 1 April 3.30 to 5.30pm school Sports Hall

FEES for the TCBA season:

• Senior Premier Team: $255.00  + tournaments costs
• Junior A team: $235.00 
• Age group teams: $120.00
