Visual Arts

In the Visual Arts students enjoy the opportunity to create Art in a range of different fields. Including Paint, Design, Photography, Film, Sculpture, Digital Art and Contemporary Maori Art. Learning about Art History is also offered at year 13.

Our focus is to develop relevant ideas that are personal to each student, while learning practical skills and working through the creative process to develop ideas that clarify a final solution.

The exhibition curators compare the works within their particular categories and choose based on what is aesthetically and technically the strongest pieces for the show.
