Volleyball Term Three/Four

Information Update as at the 4 August 2018

Competitive: Students are encouraged to attend lunchtime sessions on Monday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s in the sports hall. 

• Y9 are invited to attend training sessions on Monday 3.30-5pm and Sunday on 10-12noon in the old gym.
• Y10 are invited to attend training sessions on Monday 3.30-5pm and Thursday 3.30-4.30pm. These sessions are run by a coach and provide students with the opportunity to learn and/or further develop the fundamental skills of volleyball. 
• Trials will be held on Monday 19^th and Monday 26^th August from 3.30-5pm. Click this link for the letter.  A trial fee of $30 must be paid to the fees office and an online registration form must be completed prior to trials. 
• Click this link for the registration form. Students who are not selected are encouraged to play social volleyball and will have the trial fee transferred to that fee.

JUNIOR A TEAM

JUNIOR B and C Team Coaches: To be advised

• The Junior A, Y9A and the Junior B Teams will compete at the North Island Championships in Auckland from Tuesday 26^th -29^th Another letter will be issued in term four that provides all the necessary information about this event.

Social: Weekly league games commence on Tuesday 23^rd October at QEYC.  Students interested in playing are to register online.  Please click this link to read the letter and click this link to complete the registration form.  A team list must be collected from the Sports Office, filled in and returned to the Sports Office by Wednesday 26^th September.  The fee of $50 must be paid to the fees office by Wednesday 17^th October.

                            SENIOR                                    

Competitive: Students interested in weekly training and league games throughout term four are to register online.

selected on Tuesday 18 th September after training on Tuesday 11th and Thursday 13th September. If selected into the squad your daughter will be expected to attend training on Thursday 20 th September and then each Tuesday from 3.30-5pm
throughout Term Four. Trials will be held on 3rd and 5 th December for selection into the 2019 Senior A, B, and Teams. The
fee of $65 must be paid to the fees office by Thursday 27 th September. Trials for selection into the 2019 Senior
Competitive Teams will be held on Tuesday 4th and Thursday 6th December in Term Four.
