Staff Professional Development Day Monday 20 July

On Monday 20 July students will be at home as teachers have a Professional Development day. There is no school on this day for students. Term 3 begins on Tuesday 21 July and period one is at the usual time of 8.40am. We thank you for supporting our staff to have a day together to support their learning. Please note that the school office is closed.

Open Night - Thursday 6 August, 5:45pm

Starting in the school hall followed by guided tours with senior students on hand to answer any questions. This is a great opportunity to see the extensive range of curricular and extra curricular activities on offer. COVID-19 Update

Below is the latest information from the Ministry of Health (MoH) regarding testing for COVID-19. KEY points are summarised here for you;

1. If you are unwell, stay home and get better
2. There is no community transmission in NZ
3 Normal colds and flu like symptoms are happening now due to the winter season
4. Testing is only for those who: are close contacts of confirmed cases, have recently travelled overseas, or been in contact with recent travellers, should get assessed AND, if you are tested, you do NOT have to stay home until the results come in BUT stay home until you feel better.
5. If you test positive, or have been in close contact with someone who has now tested positive, the MoH will contact you (their contact tracing requirement) and will contact the school if required. If the MoH contacts that school and feels there is a need to undertake further contact tracing of colleagues/students, then it is likely the school will be closed for 72 hours to allow this to take place. I will let you know if this is to occur.
6. There is no cost to you to get tested (for now).
