Elite Sports Performance Programme - Sport - Tauranga Girls' College

Tauranga Girls’ College is introducing a Sporting Elite Class at Year 9 and 10 to support the young women who excel in their chosen sporting fields and to make sure they are supported in their academic endeavours.
The class will be offered as an option for students but there will be a selection criteria and careful consideration given to whom would best benefit from being in the class.
The class is for students who are performing at a high level within at least one sport. These students must have a clear desire to compete at an elite level and have the motivation to work hard to achieve this goal.

This programme will be running compulsory morning sessions during the year and optional field trips to industry based organisations on top of timetabled classes.
