Bay of Plenty champs, Secondary Champs National Champs all held in Feb/March/April
Lessons start off at Waimarino, but to compete in any competitions white water practice at Kaituna/Rotorua or Tarawera/Kawerau once per week for month leading up to competitions.
Competitions have U14 and U16 and U18 categories (age 1st Jan)
Every lesson is $15 per hour regardless if at Waimarino or white water, so beginners need $15 per week, but once the decision is made to compete that could be $45 per week.
There is also an annual $40 fee to join the club and use all their gear every lesson, so girls only bring togs/wetsuits to lessons.
