We will be hitting the ground running as far as summer sports go at Tauranga Girls' College. Please ensure your daughter listens to the daily notices and remembers to attend meetings.
Many summer sports run over both term 1 & 4 so if your daughter commits to a sport in term 1 she needs to understand that this commitment flows on into term 4. It is important that she realises that there is likely to be tournaments and these are often at the same time as other team sports so awareness of clashes before committing to teams is important.
However we encourage your daughter to give as many sports a go!
Summer Sports on offer:
Students will be giving a notice on the sports they have indicated they want to join which will have all relevant information. Students must fill in a consent form either online or paper copy and pay the fee to be able to be placed in a team.
Winter sports will be starting open trainings and trails late February/early March.
Any questions about how sport is run at Tauranga Girls' College please contact the sports department on 5788114 ext 748 or email the Director of Sport – Kaye Barnett email@example.com
