TE ARA POUTAMA [T.A.P Girls]

Who are we?
Te Ara Poutama is a group of Year 10 students of Māori descent. Invitations were sent out at the beginning of this year, based on KAMAR ethnicity and participation at the EOY Māori Prizegiving inviting students to be apart of this new group. We continue to welcome any new students that want to be apart of TAP.

What do we do?
Ultimately, the long term goal is to mentor, support and provide guidance for all TAP students right through to Year 13. Our short term goals are to develop a strong cultural identity and develop a culture of academic pursuits and leadership skills. We meet on a weekly basis and discuss, plan and prepare for our projects that we decide to participate in.
